1-Break out.

This can be a very basic storyline or a very complex one. We can indulge in an elaborate escape from Arkham Asylum or we can simply start post-escape and go from there. We can touch on a lunatic romance, or them reestablishing themselves inside Gotham City and incorporate various NPC"s that can add depth the story and keep it fluid. Or we can again keep it more basic with one on one focus, depending on preference or mood. I also like the concept of odd pairings, say Lady Shiva or Nocturna for example. We can say the circumstances of their situation could force them to rely on the other while not fully trusting ( or liking ) each other. Really though this story can work with just about anyone paired against Harley, but if you need some ideas take a look at preferred pairings for a reference point to work off.

 

2- Girls behind bars.
I love the concept of Arkham Asylum. I would love to explore the sociology and dynamic of raving lunatics, criminal geniuses, psychopaths and abusive authority confined in a single space. I would really like to delve into the dark, sinister underbelly of it all. The trades, the favors, the exchanges, the abuse, the swaying of clique and gangs, the corrupt officials. Harley and her opposition could be competing for top dog on the women's wing of Arkham, maybe new fish becomes Harley's new plaything. Maybe there's a therapist ( ironically working Harley's old job ) who she wanted to corrupt, in the same manner Joker did her. Another angle, maybe a genderbent Joker is in the women's side of Arkham and there is very, very focused attempt to keep them apart. Perhaps all of this segues into "Break Out".. I can think of a hundred other angles touch on with this scenario. I'd love to delve deeper and flesh it out more with someone willing to collaborate. 

 

3-The early years

Delving into the early years of Harley's life be interesting. Maybe going completely alternate world with it and playing with her trajectory from the beginning to Harley. I've played this a lot of different ways with various partners and have always to found reimagining circumstances to be rather fun. Whether she becomes codpenedant on another villain instead of Joker, sparking a different evolution of her completely. Or even playing around with her time at Gotham U and having her somehow end up apart of the bat family as a Batgirl replacing Babs. It's very open scenario and I love going different ways with it to see the results.

 

 

4- Collaboration
Ultimately some of the best stories are really made on the fly, I love to work out something with people and come up with something completely fresh.    I'll just throw out a few more things, that perhaps helpful in formulating ideas for play:  I really loved Power Girl and Harley together, I enjoyed their run.  Admittedly in most cases I'm not the biggest Power Girl fan, but this would be the biggest exception for me.  I really love alternate world settings as well.     Shoot an idea if you have one!
